Creating a Flower Essence Remedy

Creating a flower essence remedy involves capturing the energetic imprint of a flower in water through sunlight or another gentle method. Here’s a basic guide to making a flower essence remedy:

Materials:

  1. Fresh, vibrant flowers of your chosen plant
  2. Spring water (or purified water)
  3. Glass or crystal bowl (avoid metal or plastic)
  4. Glass dropper bottles (dark amber or cobalt blue)
  5. Brandy or vinegar (as a preservative)
  6. Notebook and pen for documentation
  7. Labels for bottles

Procedure:

  1. Choose the Right Flower:

    • Select a flower that resonates with the emotional or energetic qualities you want to address. Choose a healthy, vibrant specimen.
  2. Select a Sacred Space:

    • Find a quiet and undisturbed place, preferably in nature, where the flower is growing. This could be a garden, meadow, or any place where the plant thrives.
  3. Set an Intention:

    • Approach the flower with respect and set a clear intention for the essence. Focus on the emotional or spiritual qualities you wish to capture.
  4. Harvesting the Flowers:

    • Choose flowers in the morning when they are at their freshest. Use clean scissors or shears to cut the flowers, thanking the plant for its gift.
  5. Prepare the Bowl:

    • Fill a glass or crystal bowl with spring water. Place it in a spot where it will receive direct sunlight for several hours. Avoid using metal or plastic containers, as they can interfere with the energetic transfer.
  6. Imprinting the Water:

    • Place the flowers gently on the surface of the water, allowing them to float. Leave the bowl in the sunlight for a few hours, allowing the energetic imprint of the flower to transfer to the water. You may also choose to use moonlight instead of sunlight.
  7. Strain and Preserve:

    • Carefully remove the flowers from the water, using a non-metal strainer. This water now holds the energetic essence of the flower.
    • Add an equal amount of brandy or vinegar to the flower-infused water as a preservative. The typical ratio is 1:1 (one part flower water to one part preservative).
  8. Bottling:

    • Use a glass dropper to transfer the essence into dark amber or cobalt blue glass bottles. Label each bottle with the name of the flower, date of preparation, and intended emotional or energetic qualities.
  9. Storage:

    • Store the bottles in a cool, dark place away from electromagnetic fields. A pantry or a wooden box works well.
  10. Usage:

    • Flower essences are typically taken orally. Add a few drops (2-4) under the tongue, in a glass of water, or directly on the skin. Repeat as needed.

Remember that making flower essences is a personal and intuitive process. Trust your instincts and connect with the energy of the plant throughout the process.
